Navantia’s HR Director Fernando Ramírez and head of the Bertelsmann Foundation Clara Bassols, today signed the document formalising the company’s membership of the Dual Vocational Training Alliance. The Alliance now boasts 1,300 members.

The Alliance is an initiative started in 2015 by the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Fundación Princesa de Girona, the CEOE and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. It is set up as a state network of businesses, education centres and institutions made up of 1,300 members, aiming to promote Dual Vocational Training in Spain.

As part of its quality job creation policy, Navantia seeks to increase these partnerships in order to help apprentices learn more about the sector, improve their professional qualifications and facilitate young people’s incorporation into the labour market.
