Navantia will participate for the first time in UNVEX, in the edition that will take place in Santiago de Compostela from 7 to 9 July, with the aim of consolidating its new brand image to be a reference in the sector of unmanned surface vehicles (USV Unmanned Surface Vehicle) in Spain.

The Navantia and SAES stand will show live the operational capacity of the USV “Vendaval”, the first unmanned surface vehicle marketed and already operating in the port of Ceuta for real missions in Spain. Navantia will be supported at the exhibition by the Port Authority of Ceuta, whose director will be present at the stand.

Navantia will also participate in the official conference programme of UNVEX, where it will have four speakers at different round tables:

  • Day 7 from 15:00 to 16:15. Applications II (Naval). “The sea, new space for remotely manned systems”, by Ana Pulido.
  • Day 8 from 11:00 to 12:15 h. Terrestrial Applications (UGV). “Ground vehicles at the forefront of operations”, by Pilar Moyano.
  • Day 8 from 12:30 to 13:45. Technology. “Technologies to achieve tactical superiority”, by Alfonso Cardona.
  • Day 8 from 15:00 to 16:15. Programmes and acquisitions. “Ongoing programmes to equip the Armed Forces”, by Juan de la Cueva.
