The Navantia repair shipyard in Cartagena, strategically located on the Mediterranean coast, is specialized in the repair and reform of large motor yatchs or sailboats. It represents a growing business for Navantia and some of the Yachts are already regular customers. Among the works carried out in the facilities, it includes, extensions of ships, interior renovations, exterior painting, rigging service, technical services and machine room reforms. This center has its own team of highly qualified people to meet the needs of yachts in steel, aluminum, mechanization, electricity and carpentry. In addition, it maintains collaboration agreements with prestigious auxiliary companies with a long tradition and experience in the sector. It also has two manufacturing centers: the Multipurpose Workshop with the most advanced means for the route or repair of disassembled equipment, and for the manufacture of new elements, and the Engine Factory, which offers different services in Caterpillar motors, Man or MTU engines, supply of spare parts, block casting, machining and engine testing, etc. This tandem can get its critical components first-hand and without resorting to third parties, saving significantly the costs or duration of the repair.
