Fene-Ferrol Repairs, the specialized center in the repair of LNG’s from Navantia, began its activity in this naval niche at the beginning of the 90s, with the defined objective of specializing in this demanding sector. Currently, this center is one of the best options worldwide for the repair and maintenance of LNG’s, thanks to the effort of the center to complement its history of nearly 300 years in shipbuilding and repair. Its experience in steam propulsion of its own factory of turbines, its machining workshops and its specialization in liquefied gas cargo containment systems, cryogenic equipment and other specialized systems associated with this sophisticated type of vessel. Its modern and excellent facilities, strategically located in the naturally protected estuary of Ferrol, and its trained, qualified and committed staff, have helped this center to become a leader in the European and Atlantic market and placed among the first at the level worldwide in the LNG sector.
