With a new and very innovative stand format, Navantia attended the Euronaval trade fair in Paris from November 3 to 6, one of the most important in the sector in Europe: Three holograms (of the S-80 submarine, the F-110 frigate and Alpha 3000) have received numerous visitors and delegations from all over the world and, at the top of the stand, they have displayed curved screens that have shown Navantia’s most striking videos.

Delegations from France, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Germany, the Philippines, Egypt, Angola, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Cameroon, among others, have passed through the Navantia space at Euronaval.

European projects, another of the protagonists of Euronaval 2025

Within the framework of the trade fair, Ricardo Domínguez, president of Navantia, along with the presidents of Fincantieri and Naval Group have signed the second phase of the EPC project, which aims to complete the design of the European corvettes and start production of the first two prototypes.

As for the other European projects in which Navantia participates or leads, the EDINAF, dTHOR and SWAT SHOAL programs have been present at the Sea Europe stand and those responsible for Navantia have made them known.

In the conference section, European projects have been the focus of this edition of Euronaval. Fernando Miguélez, representative of Navantia before the EU and NATO, participated in a round table on the communal needs of the different navies and countries in Europe to face new threats. In another conference, Juan Ignacio Silvera, director of Intelligent Products, explained the new digital architecture of the ships that enable the new capabilities of Europe’s combat units.

Finally, Aitor Facio, A.I. Technical Architect of the COEX of Naval Systems, explained in another round table the client’s perspective in the field of synthetic data to train Artificial Intelligence (AI) models.
