Navantia in Cádiz has become a European benchmark in the repair and modernisation of large cruise ships, leading the “Cruise Ships” business line from its Cádiz Bay shipyard. It has one of the largest dry docks in Europe (386 × 66 m and 440,000 DWT) and more than 3,000 m of quay with a draught of 9 m, essential for accommodating large‑length vessels. Its 400 t/day wastewater treatment plant, electrical supply of up to 4,000 A at 440 V 60 Hz, fire‑fighting system and seawater capacity (6 bar, expandable up to 1,300 m³/h at 9 bar) ensure efficient and safe operations.

Thanks to its strategic location between European and Caribbean routes, excellent climate and specialised auxiliary industry in the area, Navantia Cádiz offers a comprehensive service for large‑scale works, with capacity to store up to 800 containers and a 1,000 m² covered warehouse available to shipowners. In recent years, it has signed fleet agreements with major companies in the sector and has repaired or modernised vessels of Royal Caribbean International, Disney Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Pullmantur.
