Navantia disembarked in Monaco to attend a new edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the largest and most representative fair in the world of luxury yachts and mega-yachts. The event took place from 27 to 30 September in the port of Hercules, in the heart of the Principality of Monaco.
Navantia’s main objective at this fair – with a stand shared by Yacht Port and the Port Authority of Cartagena – was to show the world its extensive capabilities in the conversion and maintenance of high-end vessels, while strengthening the image of Cartagena as a destination for luxury yachts.
A commercial delegation from Yacht Repairs, headed by Laura Correa (Commercial Director of the Cartagena Dock), travelled to Monaco last week to hold numerous meetings and conversations with high-level clients and companies specialising in the yachting sector.
With its presence at the fair, Navantia aims to publicise and promote its repair shipyard in Cartagena, strategically located on the Mediterranean coast and with a privileged climate all year round. This shipyard specialises in the repair and refit of large yachts (from 60 metres in length and upwards) and has a syncrolift with the capacity to repair up to 11 vessels at the same time.
As a novelty of this edition, our stand was the setting for two technical talks by partner companies: Caroline Young was the representative of Brookes Bell and Alejandro Expósito spoke on behalf of Optimiza. On the other hand, we held our traditional “Taste of Spain” every day of the fair, a tasting of food, beer and wine of Iberian origin which, as always, was a resounding success.
