Corvettes / Light Frigates

Corvettes are medium-sized warships, designed to perform a variety of naval missions, including patrol, escort, coastal defense and anti-submarine warfare operations. Navantia has been working on the construction of corvettes for the Royal Saudi Arabian Navy (RSNF), demonstrating its ability to design and build state-of-the-art vessels. They have several key objectives in naval operations: coastal defense, anti-submarine warfare, convoy escort and protection, patrol and surveillance operations, and electronic warfare operations. Equipped with advanced sonar systems and anti-submarine weaponry, corvettes can detect and destroy enemy submarines, thus protecting other ships and naval forces. Their versatility, cost-effectiveness, high maneuverability, advanced warfare capabilities and ease of maintenance make them an attractive option for navies. Despite their compact size, corvettes are equipped with advanced combat systems, including radar, sonar, missiles and torpedoes. This allows them to face a variety of threats and perform combat missions efficiently.
