Navantia has appointed Manuel Bermúdez de Castro Muñoz as the new Head of Submarine Business. In this position, he will lead the business and management of the Cartagena shipyard, focusing on maximising the efficiency of the shipyard’s production processes and ensuring its readiness for new programs.
Manuel Bermúdez de Castro Muñoz (A Coruña, Spain,1972) has an extensive career as a naval engineer with particular experience in production and testing. Since joining Navantia in 2003, he has held responsibilities in various programmes for the Spanish Navy and other Navies, specifically in the F100, F310, and the Australian ALHD and AAOR programs — the latter of which he directed — as well as for Navantia Seanergies.
