Navantia took part in the World Defence Show held in Riyadh from 8 to 12 March, strengthening its role as a strategic partner of the Saudi Ministry of Defence. Throughout the event, the company showcased its technological capabilities and its potential to continue contributing to future naval programmes, ranging from frigates to submarines.
On the opening day, the Spanish Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, visited the stand accompanied by the President of Navantia and several senior executives, where she was able to see first-hand systems such as Teleasistencia and Navantis.
During the show, numerous authorities of the Saudi government from the industrial, financial, naval and defence sectors expressed strong interest in Navantia’s offering, reinforcing the company’s prestige and the trust it continues to build in the region.
The event also benefited from the support of the Spanish Navy and the Ministry of Defence, represented by senior military leaders who highlighted the strategic importance of this international presence.
