Innovation is a cornerstone of Navantia’s Operating Plan. As an integrative company, innovation focuses on high value-added products and services for our clients, on how these are designed and manufactured, and on their lifecycle in order to maximise availability through services based on models and data.
Navantia’s innovation model is open and collaborative, integrating the entire ecosystem (clients, government bodies, universities, technology partners, startups, suppliers, etc.), driving its development and maximising the value proposition. Innovation is structured through strategic top-down initiatives that strengthen the innovative mindset and technological capabilities across the company, reinforcing technology watch, knowledge management and agile exploitation, with a focus on the bottom line and the product and service catalogue. Navantia is developing advanced capabilities and applying agile, collaborative ways of innovating through its network of Centres of Excellence (NAVANTIA COEX network) as the main drivers of innovation and hubs for attracting and developing talent.
