Approved supplier panels and dynamic purchasing systems
Navantia has agreed to process dynamic supplier approval procedures that will allow it – in compliance with the applicable legal framework – to streamline its procurement procedures by establishing supplier panels by speciality or groups within each speciality.
The creation of these Panels is based on the categorisation, evaluation and classification of suppliers by specialities/groups through an Approval Process that will lead to the creation of “Supplier Panels”.

With the aim of increasing competition, Navantia is implementing dynamic purchasing systems, a technique for streamlining procurement for routine purchases. This is a fully electronic process, open throughout its duration to any interested company that meets the selection criteria.
It is carried out in accordance with the rules of the restricted procedure and is implemented in two stages. In the first stage, companies that meet the required selection criteria are incorporated into the dynamic purchasing system, and in the second stage purchases are made by inviting the companies admitted in the previous stage to submit their bids.
