Navantia Seanergies wants to expand in the North American offshore wind market, one of the most ambitious in the world with targets such as 30 GW in 2030 and 110 GW in 2050, a development that will be through floating technology in the West and fixed in the East, and that is why our green energy division could not miss one of the most important events in the sector, the IPF trade fair.
With more than 400 exhibiting companies, more than 4,000 visitors and 350 speakers, IPF is undoubtedly one of the most powerful trade fairs in the offshore wind sector in the United States, which this year was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, between April 22 and 25.
Navantia Seanergies has attended with a shared stand, along with Windar and Nassco, our partner in the USA, and a delegation headed by Abel Méndez, Commercial Director of Navantia Seanergies, and composed by six people representing the Commercial and Business Development Department, the Engineering Department and the Communication and Marketing Department.
From the first day the activity at the stand has been frenetic with a multitude of meetings taking place simultaneously with potential customers and local suppliers. Navantia Seanergies has also had the opportunity to attend workshops and conferences of interest, especially focused on market analysis in the U.S., providing the context for the areas of Business Intelligence and Business Development.
Navantia Seanergies also had the pleasure of attending events after the end of the exhibition on this first day, organized by Worley and Arup, two of the most relevant engineering companies in the sector and with which it is currently working on bidding processes and other types of commercial activities.
