Navantia participated as an exhibitor at the international fair “ExpoNaval 2024” held in Valparaíso, Chile, from December 3 to 6. During the event, the company presented its innovations and established key contacts in the maritime and defense sector, showcasing various ship models as a prominent option in Chile’s shipbuilding plan.

Additionally, during the congress held as part of the fair, the Director of Commercial and Business Development, José Manuel Mondejar, participated in the panel titled “Shipbuilding plans, benefits and challenges“, reflecting on the strategic advantage for a country to have its own robust shipbuilding industry in a geopolitical and defense environment full of uncertainties.

It is important to highlight that Navantia’s stand was visited by the Chilean Minister of National Defense, Maya Fernández, and Admiral Juan Andrés de la Maza Larraín, Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Navy.

Navantia’s participation in this event highlights the interest and relevance of its proposal in the context of the Chilean National Continuous Shipbuilding Plan (PNCCN).
