The shipyard of Navantia in Cadiz has specialized in the maintenance, repair and modernization of large cruises for which it has one of the largest repair dams in Europe (386 x 66 meters and 440,000 DWT) and more than 3,000 meters of dock with a draft of 9 meters, essential to receive large vessels, as well as a wastewater treatment plant of 400 Ton / day, power supply capacity of up to 4.000A 440V 60Hz, fire-fighting system and salt water supply of 6 bar which can be increased to 1,300 m3 / hour at 9 bar. It also has a strategic location between the European routes and the Caribbean, an excellent climate and a large and specialized auxiliary industry in the area. For the maintenance and modernization works made on the ships, that involves a large amount of material, Navantia has a store capacity in the Cadiz Shipyard up to 800 containers, as well as a warehouse of 1000m2, available to the ship owner In recent years, it has achieved agreements with the main companies in the cruiser sector and has repaired and/or modernized cruises own by several companies, such as the Royal Caribbean International, Disney Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Pullmantur, among others.
